Ida A. Luttman

Born: 15 April 1896
Died: ?
AKA: -
Labels: Rolla-Artis (WurliTzer)

Ida Luttman appears on the scarce Wurlitzer Rolla-Artis label in both solos and duets, primarily raggy popular songs.

She was the daughter of German immigrants. Her father died early and in the 1900 census she is living with her mother and siblings in North Tonawanda with her grandfather, a farmer.

A graduate of the North Tonawanda High School, she married Elks Club music arranger and choir director Leon Myron Folmsbee (1888-?) on 17 May 1921, and had two sons, Bert Hartley (1922-2003) and Glen Louis (1923-?)

In the 1930 census, the family are living in North Tonawanda with Ida's parents. Ida has no profession and Leon is shown as a 'roll maker - piano factory' (undoubtedly WurliTzer)
